Freedom spotlights humanitarian achievement

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights declares that “Everyone is entitled to all the rights and freedoms set forth in this Declaration, without distinction of any kind, such as race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status.” It is an aspiration shared by Scientologists and articulated in the Creed of the Church of Scientology: “We of the Church believe that all men of whatever race, colour or creed were created with equal rights.”

Freedom magazine’s editors strive to fulfil their purpose through publications that provide the documented truth on topics of vital interest to society and its leaders.

The magazine's content has, in the process, been enriched with the works of veteran legislators, judges and presidential candidates, as well as individuals as diverse as two of the world’s top authorities on Nazi war criminals, Simon Wiesenthal and Charles R. Allen, Jr.; eminent psychiatrist and author Thomas Szasz; Danish human rights champion Morten Kjaerum; business and political leader Ross Perot; peace broker George Mitchell; and authors Gordon Thomas and Norman Cousins, to name just a few. Freedom has also provided a platform for the efforts of human rights organisations, such as Amnesty International and the International Helsinki Federation.
